Best sticks for USB/PC?

Post by skibblesx »

Ugh I'm sorry if this is a typical repeat thread, but I tried using the search function and basically all I find are 360 and PS2 stick threads.

I been playing Mushihime on Mame, game responds wonderfully with keyboard and it's a USB, so I wanted to get a USB stick to play with, but I know a lot of Fighter sticks are pretty bad for shmups, and I know especially that cheap Chinese hardware is mass made for anything and everything for the PC, so I really don't wanna screw myself out of it by trusting Amazon reviews when most of the time they're people using them for fighters.

I would really like to avoid using a PS2 converter because of possibly input lag and I don't wanna deal with over clocking my USB and all that u~u

Thanks for any help! <3

BTW Fudoh, how's the HRAP EX-SE plug and play capabilities on PC? My EX controller had issues with games enabled analog controls, so I wouldn't be surprise if the EX-SE does as well.

possible and depends on the windows version and the game/emu, but setting up something like joy2key takes about 1 minute and after that you're good for eternity.

Never had any problem with my Warez PSX/PS2-to-PC adapter. Even detects analogue buttons (discovered thanks to Mashed: Fully Loaded). That is, I played Mashed a lot on my PC using DS2 as well as USB analogue joypad and didn't notice any extra latency with adapter (something I'm rather cautious about). Raiden III with PlayStation controllers didn't seem any less playable than with keyboard either.
