My new project, Bullet Ladder

Here's a couple of screens of my new game, Bullet Ladder.

It's a bit experimental.
You can only move left or right.
When you fill your chain bar you move up one step on the ladder.
This gives you a higher multiplier but makes the game harder.
when you get hit you move down a step, when you fall off the bottom it's game over.

The graphics look interesting but could you describe it a bit more?

Not sure what else to say at the moment, still early days.
To chain you have to stop thing leaving the screen, you can fire backward to help with this.
Chaining helps you to move up a step on the ladder.
It's wave based like Galaga but plays more bullet hell-ish.
After each eave you receive a shot power up.
Will be released on Xblig and PC at some point.
My wife is doing the graphics and probably having music from Railslave.
No lives, when you drop off the ladder it's game over.
That's all I can think of for now, let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know :)

Looks promising. I could see getting hooked on something like that given the right execution.
