Greetings all. Let me first list out my assumption of how I will be setting this thing up, followed by two or three questions.
My goal is to ultimately have 3-4 consoles hooked up to the BVM through an scart switch of some kind. I've been doing a ton of research over the past couple days on this site and a few others but I'm still not sure which specific cable I need to run from the SNES to the scart switch. I plan on using at least a SNES mini with RGB mod and a toploader NESRGB system.
So here goes:
1) I'm assuming I would need something like this (http://www.retrogamingcables.com/male-r ... cable.html) to come from the output of the scart switch and to my monitor? Is this the cable of my dreams?
a) Additionally, can the male RCA connectors on that cable be fed straight to a receiver of some kind? The reason that I ask is that most scart switches seem to have RCA inputs/outputs and I'm not sure how they relate to the broken out cables on that adapter. Not sure if the scart cable carries the audio all the way until broken out or if I'm supposed to run cable from the switch to something else?
2) Secondly, looking at this (http://www.retrogamingcables.com/super- ... -sale.html), do I need composite video or composite sync? I have the manual for my monitor, I'm just not sure how I would find that information.
3) Is there somewhere else I should be buying cables from? Due to the price of some of these cables, I don't want to buy stuff that I either can't use or would limit me in some way.
Please be gentle, I've tried my best to research but I'm quite a bit confused. I didn't even know what an scart adapter was until a day or so ago Ask any questions as I'm really excited to get this thing up and running!
Thank you all

Re: New BVM-20F1U owner with a couple of questions
1.) Yes, but when you can check out the Trading Section and send PMs, ask user daskrabs there. He offers better prices than what that website lists. What you'll want is a Euro SCART to BNC cable.
2.) I see conflicting things about this, but composite video as sync should work with this just fine - but somebody else will have to chime in about that. Stripped sync is only for rare cases, I think.
Another note on your supplier choice: Please look at this for Retro Gaming Cables' apparently official stance on shielding cables. If that has you wondering about an alternative, you can see if Retro Console Accessories on eBay has more in stock, as mickcris posted. They will appear here when they're in stock. It's too bad that you didn't ask a few days ago. If you want to go with them, you'll have to wait a bit longer.
Alternatively you could go the route of a Nintendo Super Famicom RGB cable (using the JP21 pinout), I'm sure, and get a JP21 to BNC cable from daskrabs. Note that official Nintendo RGB cables are old, expensive, and the internal capacitors may need to be replaced.
