Can somebody smarter than me help me access tv service menu?

Post by MrOldSchoolCool »

I've searched the internet as well as I can, and still cannot find out how to access my tv's service menu. The TV I have is a Sharp LC-20SH3U http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-tvs/ ... 09493.html

If somebody could figure this out, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

The service manual is available for download here: http://elektrotanya.com/sharp_lc-20sh3u ... nload.html
It's probably explained inside...

Searching for TV service menu codes is always such a fun time.

I guess you've already tried these instructions? I also found this mention of a slightly different method.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

The "slightly different method" you suggested actually worked! You are my hero dude! Thank you so much :) Time to fix that overscan in Battle Garegga!

None of the options in the service menu seem to be able to adjust the tv's size and hori/verti positioning though... hmmm.

Because LCD screens usually don't have those.
