....new and unopened off ebay for just 8.64 total with shipping. I cannot wait to play this game. And GunNac is on the way too. Playing Nester on my PSP has me on an NES shmup kick now.

Congrats on the Guardian Legend. That's one of my all time favorites from many years ago. I'd always tell people to play Guardian Legend, and they never knew what the hell it was. Guess it just didn't get enough advertising. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the game. It's a true classic that's kept me coming back for years.

Anyways, a shmup adventure/quest hybrid, sounds neat to me.

Just looked on ebay, and saw the one you bought. Very nice. Can't believe no one else bid either. Anyway yeah, Guardian Legend has so much going for it, including kick ass music. By the way, you probably know this (or could easily find out) but if you want to play in "shooter mode", which is just the vert scrolling levels, just enter "TGL" as the password.

I dunno, I find the adventure stages to ba annoying... the shmup levels are good, but not as good as in say, Zanac.

Now people always say "Oohh, so many people never played The Guardian Legend (Guardic Gaiden in japanese)"... has anyone ever played the ORIGINAL Guardic?
