Who the heck is Afega? Stagger 1?

Someone is trying to push this game Stagger 1 on me made by AFEGA. I have no clue who these people are but instinct points to some shitty Guardian storm game I read about once. What is the word on AFEGA and these shmups or what they are supposed to be.

Apparently they stole the intro to Raiden 2 what a bunch of cheap bastards.


After a little research I found out the following

Stagger 1 looks like a Batsugun Rip OFF
Sen Jin/Guardian Storm looks like a Shienryu RIP OFF

If anyone has more pics please post im interested in seeing more.

Give them a try yourself, on MAME, if your conscience doesn't trouble you much. Even this way you'll find yourself struggling for excuses to hang on to them.

Guardian Force is great game. Nice ST-V port to the Saturn. Play it yourself. And yes, I do believe those other shmups are rip-off type of games. Didn't Afega make Hotdog Storm?

I messed up on the post. Guardian Force is pretty good I had it on STV once. Guardian storm is what I was reading.

Yeah, Afega has a pretty distinct crappy style. I have onother one of their games- R-Shark.
