I'd definetly say Toilet Kids for PC Engine. The simple fact that you fling poop at people is definetly out of the ordinary.

My vote's for R-Type Final. There's a lot of variety, and some of the force types are very unusual, if not particularly useful.

Hitogata Happa:

That girl on ball who shoots flames at point blank if you tap the button, throws it 5 or 6 sprite characters away if you hold it then release the shoot button

That girl who only has a flaming sword thingy that could only deal damage on point blank

That magician girl who only shoots out homing rockets from her ass, 5 or 8 missles per time

I think those are pretty unique.

my fave is random bell attack in Parodius (not sure if it was Da! or Gokujyou)

plus, i though, the "bomb" attack of the Dolphin in Aero Fighters3 is wierd, never knew you could destroy tanks with water...

R-Type Final, definitely. Platonic Love, Mad Forest, Sweet Memories, Charon, Sexy Dynamite, and a few others have THE most fucked-up weaponry i've ever seen.

I totally agree. It took me a while to figure out that my blasters were in fact...ice cream cones!

Everything about this game is in some way funny. Love the way the little enemies use a parachute when shot down (I then, of course, proceed to shoot them down again, but that´s another story).
