Just wanted to let you know square dancing classes will probably be starting soon in your areas. Square dancing and playing shmups are very similar because the caller will call out calls and you have to do it on the fly with your partner/corner dancer immediately. It's very challenging, great exercise, and fun!
I imagine it like calls are bullets and you have to move to dodge with your whole body! It is fun to know how to swing your partner. I also find my square dancing skills compliment my shmup skills nicely.
