Any word on a possible Border Down HD?

I'm guessing that folks on these boards follow G. Rev a lot more than I do. Have they said anything about the possibility of Border Down HD after the release of Under Defeat HD?

I know there was some talk before the release of Under Defeat HD, but have they said anything recently? Anything at all?

Doesn't seem like it, if it helps you can run Border Down in the NullDC emulator and play it in 1080p without stretching if you use the Aspect Ratio: Extra Geometry setting, naturally the active play area is still a 4:3 rectangle in the middle but you can see the background in full HD.

Cant wait to finally upgrade to a better PC so I can start using DC emulators.

I'm more of a console gamer and would have preferred an official release, though the emulation option seems like a good consolation prize!

Grev commented on a BD HD release around when Under Defeat HD was released (on a live stream). They said that the way they made the game was very specific to the Dreamcast hardware and that it wasn't as easy as Under Defeat was. They'd basically have to remake a lot of portions of the game in HD, and it would cost so much that it wouldn't be very realistic. They didn't close the possibility entirely, but they made it clear that it wasn't going to happen in the near future.

Oh hey, I forgot Border Down existed! I remember enjoying it, especially since it was one of two games [the other was the NAOMI Senko no Ronde] that ran well in NullDC on my old machine.
