Things I'll never actually understand: some people's obsession with scanlines.
I've always considered Rockman 7&8 FC to be somewhat better than the originals, though.

My 1CCs so I can find the list easier myself

Very cool setup. That looks great!

I've never understood why people like playing blurry games without clean and crisp beautiful sprites.

As someone who grew up with them, scanlines just kind of feel right for this kind of thing. Looks fine without, but they give me a nice feeling inside.
It's a neat thing to do, would be nice if there were a software solution for the scanlines similar to in ootake.

Pretty convincing! If I didn't know it was running on PC, I'd think it was an FC game!

There should be a separate tool for everything fullscreen putting scanlines on. By software, I can imagine it working pretty well at least for CRTs. Most emulators do it on their own, so why not? Cave Story, Spelunky and so on look good on a CRT in 640x480 to me, but would look at least as good with scanlines.

You can use SweetFX to overlay scanline patterns over almost any windows program or game.
