Crap teaser.
But beggars can't be choosers and we've been begging for a new game on a console.

Raidou is just a dial button simulator anyway. Break Record when? Catherine 2 when?

That would be so glorious! Catherine was one the most memorable games on the HD twins. I would love to see Atlus doing something similar to that game again, but now Sega is the boss so better prepare for something like 'Sonic & Personas Vs. Mario & Pikmins doing Yoga in Nintendoland II' on the WiiU.Formless God wrote: Catherine 2 when?

That's not all, there's also Persona Q on 3DS and Persona 4: Dance All Night on Vita. The former is an Etrian Odyssey clone with P3/P4 characters; the latter is a Project Diva clone that's almost certainly a result of Sega's new ownership of Atlus.
Can't forget the P4: Ultimax fighter sequel by Arc System Works, either. Or the P3 anime movie.
I guess this is nothing new for Atlus, as the SMT series was also milked aggressively in its Japanese glory days. But they're seriously at risk of burning everyone out on the Persona franchise and killing it for good. It's just not as versatile or consistently fresh as SMT, having only character obsession to ride on.
I think that not going straight into a Catherine sequel was a huge missed opportunity. It was Atlus' best-selling game of all time. It could have been because Bethesda ended support for the Gamebryo engine soon after it released.

The new Persona stuff is already being discussed this-a-way.
