I've been working on a shmup for the last few years and have been looking for a way to get feedback from users that would actually have in interest in the game im developing for once
I came across this forum by chance and would love to know what you guys think about this trailer I just made for my game in pre-alpha StarShield.Just as a further comment, StarShield is aiming to fill a void in schmups currently in the market. Combining elements of Starfox & Tyrian. You play through the plot of StarShield learning the story of Ace and his crew. As you progress through that story you upgrade your ship and research new weapons and subsystems to fight more complex and diverse enemies. Wing men fly by your side in the story and offer you aid in key moments. You can also call in selected wing men to use their special abilities from blocking enemies, mimicking your fire, or lighting space on fire!
Anyways, i'm looking for a community that would love trying out a new game in development and to help me grow it to be even better, have I found the right place?
