Hameko Vids

Post by GaijinPunch »

There's been some very interesting videos posted at hameko lately. I've made a sticky over at Japanese Gaming, w/ a little index of the ones I think people will enjoy.

Two I've just noticed:
1546: Radiant Silvergun Sword Replay
1549: Raidant Silvergun 1CC

EDIT: Oops. :)

Damn, I wish I knew Japanese so I know what I'm going to be downloading... :|

Edit: But then again, I have guys like you to point out which videos are worth watching, instead of accidentally downloading a scat porn footage. ;)

1519 and 1521 claim to be MSX Salamander vids (bad and good ending, respectively.)

Is it just me or does Hameko.net's download speed suck so much? Do they have a download cap or something?

It's gotten slower for some reason... you have to be patient.

You have to keep in mind it's on Japan time, so their peak times will be 12-19 hours ahead of USA time. When I download in the evening Hawaii time, it's pretty fast via my cable line (150k+/sec). But earlier in the day it's down to 50-75k/sec.

I download from work, and I work Japanese hours, so anytime I'm at work, it should be at least decent speeds... it's been crap lately. Thtat's any time between 13:00 and 20:00 here, which is 08:00-04:00 in Japan... times nobody should be downloading. :)

Request: anything by Takumi (Giga Wing 1-2-generations, Night Raid, Mars Matrix, Otenki Kororin, Kyukyoku tiger II). Many thanks in advance, of course!

http://ikaruga.co.uk/files, check under the "shmups" directory. There's a complete Mars Matrix superplay, as well as Giga Wing 2 Score Attack vids for all stages except for 5 (the GW2SA... files).

FYI, you can always request your own User Name / Password for Icarus' Bit Torrent tracker on www.featheredwings.net to distribute the video...

Problem is... Not enough people are willing enough to seed it after torrenting it. :(

The Giga Wing 2 videos that were on hameko recently were Kiken's score attack videos. These are also available from archive.org.

#1398 is just really odd. I was doing some random downloadings, and I came across #1398 and, uh, it's just a video of in-game crotch shots.

Maybe we're thinking of two different videos then. There were some about a week ago and a half ago, separated into individual files by stage. Score attack mode, initials KIK.

edit 1: Piggy-backed onto this post since I posted it in another thread:
1719 is some mid-length but low-res footage of Under Defeat from the AM show.

edit 2: and noticed that Recap already mentioned it on the Japanese-Gaming thread.

#1730 - ESPGaluda 1-stage replay -- looks like Normal mode, not Arrange? I don't know, because I don't have ESPGaluda.

Yeah, it's a PS2 home port replay of Arcade mode, Stage 2 demonstration using Ageha. End of Stage 2 score: ~12,607,870 (hard to read some digits)
