looking at the posts I would guessing that there are not a lot of uk people on this forum or all the uk posters (like me) havent noticed this post.

my plans were to look after my 11 year old golden retriever and 2 horses whilst people celebrate the blowing up of the house of lords

I, too, am not british, but I probably wouldn't play videogames, primarily becuase I have strong opinions about how "video games" ought to be spelled.

Judging from your first 15 posts I can already tell you're going to be a problem.

Uh oh, someone can't handle the fun. He's only going to be a problem (to you) if you're easily butthurt. Which seems to be the case, so have fun.

So because this guy likes touhou and because skykid has an issue with him, you deduced that it must be because he likes touhou? And not that his posts make little sense?

I think we are actually celebrating the execution of the guy who tried to blow up parliament and failed, which makes it OK. I understand there is an effort to to bring Guy Fawkes night into the 21st century by rebranding it 5/11. I'm not convinced.

I think thats a terrible idea, not least because it will confuse all our American friends into thinking bonfire night is in May.

Not because it seems he has an issue with him, but with Touhou overall. (From what I have seen from his posts) He's a fucking shitposter himself, too. So either he's a dirty hypocrite, or he dislikes Touhou as a whole.

I fancy myself not as a shitposter, tbh. I don't have the creativity for that. I like proper discussions and all, but I just kinda think being butthurt over one "quality" poster is pretty dumb. Just a heads up.

I don't believe it. You don't see people wearing Obama bin Laden masks...that said, English people had their crazy shit so long ago they forget how it matters. Here in the U.S. people are still fighting the Civil War. The English Civil War? Ancient history...

It's actually ambiguous. It's an all-inclusive holiday for people of many opinions to embrace.

Nothing like like stuff like our Columbus day. A very pro-Hitler figure kind of holiday.

Another month, another cluster of Touhou fans that discover this forum and continue to clog it with drivel. I look forward to your overly sarcastic posts, meme picture responses, and creative vocabulary with more words like "shitposter" and "butthurt." I applaud you at least for not responding with a picture slathered with humorous text.

You'll stick around for a few more months, maybe, then you'll depart and find a new internet fad that wavers your attention and your lust for more derivative Japanese pop-culture that is the perfect mix of slightly underground, yet still accessible for the budding youth who dares to be different. Who knows, maybe you'll stick around to further white knight other Touhou fans in distressful situations that keep getting picked on for drab attempts at humor, pedantic inputs during their first few posts, or for resurrecting old threads to rant because 4chan won't listen.

Godspeed you, fine patron of the internet. I hope you find what you're looking for.

I like your prejudices based on nothing. Or rather, based on a couple words that are pretty common in some parts of the internet and therefore give nothing away about what kind of person I am. It's true that when I registered I never really planned to become an active member here since I only wanted to offer my services for the STGWeekly episode that featured Imperishable Night.

Obviously I can't know how long I will actually stick around here. But neither can you, so I'd prefer if you refrained from making such assumptions. I jst know from my experiences with forums that once I have become active, I tend to stick around for a couple of years.
You will likely see a few sarcastic posts from me, that's true. That's who I am. I won't deny it, but it has nothing to do with what I like and what sort of fan I am. I have been like that long before I discovered Touhou. But to calm you down, I have never answered a response with some meme-picture. The person I talk to put in the effort to type their thoughts out, so I will do the same. I am not gonna copy and paste some link with silly text on it.

I can't say I like your condescending attitude towards new members. What makes you think you are in the position to talk down on others like that? Is it because you've been a member here for a few years? Congratulations, then. But that doesn't give you the right to belittle people simply because they express themselves in a cruder language than you, or because they try to defend a friend you're labelling as a problem person without knowing him.

Godspeed you, oh superior being of the internet. I hope you're feeling good looking down on others.

I make assumptions based on you and your buddy's first couple of posts. Regardless of the forum, if you come in with a bad attitude, start making snarky posts immediately and crap all over existing threads, you're going to get treated poorly. End of story, end of discussion.

And to answer your question, it feels great up here.

Most of my post revolve around the SSL tournament going on. Good job making assumptions based on this thread alone.

We rarely snark at people we're the ones who get berated all the time, and it's clearly encouraged

As much as I'd like to, don't think I can start a bonfire in downtown Montreal, unless there's a Habs-related riot.
