A big thanks once again to Dave for hosting. It was great to see the members who were at the last meet again, and to meet new ones. Four player Giga Wing 2 is total chaos.

What an impressive row of cabinets!!!

Looks like everyone was having a blast! Wish I lived out west!

I really really really wants to experience Ketsui, Demon Front, and Dolphin Blue! Anybody in the midwest at least have the Ketsui pcb??? I will drive 250+ miles just to play that game!

Great pics IlMrm!-

Damn, that looks like you had an awesome time. What's the PSX fighting game? I'm certain that it's been seen through the eyes of myself before.

Btw, BEST ARCADE JOYSTICKS EVER. Namco made some great quality.

At the next SJ or SF shmupmeet, how about G-Net Psyvariar-R?

Post by PC Engine Fan X! »

Yo shmuppers,

For the next San Jose or San Francisco shmupmeet, how about a Taito G-Net motherboard with the rare Psyvariar Revision G-Card? My Taito G-Card of Psy-R has some pretty good shmup replays by a fellow Japanese shmupper who isn't as good as the Psy-R shmup god player of SWY but still pretty good nevertheless. Yep, my Psy-R G-Card has seen some heavy usage at a Japanese arcade...you should see some of the high scores on it...fucking insane scores and some more fucking insane Psy-R replays to boot! There aren't any DVD-R disc Super Plays of the Japanese Psy-R players on my particular Psy-R G-Card...you have to boot it up on an arcade cabinet or a Supergun to see them in action.

I like the raw presentation of the Taito G-Net on a supergun setup, it really is raw (unlike the filter and graphical uphauled version of Psyvariar Revision on the PS2 console).
