Playstation Move questions/concerns...

This is something that I'd like to get for my PS3, but I have two concerns. The first one is the length of the PS3 Eye Camera's cord-I've heard complaints that it's too short. (I don't know how long it is.)

The second concern is light interfering with the Move wand/controller-I've heard that this can happen, and I live in the Denver area, where we get over 300 sunny days every year. Even when I close my blinds, there's usually some light coming in.
