Hello everyone,
This is my first post here, so I hope I'm asking this in the right forums. I wanted to get into hooking up my consoles using SCART, so I just purchased a Sony PVM-20M2MDU Monitor and had a couple of questions.
What is the best way to get SCART connected to this monitor? I'm a complete noob when it comes to this stuff, so I'm really not sure what I need to purchase. Would it be best to purchase a VGA to 5 BNC RGBHV cable, then the SyncStrike? I'm a little confused when looking at the BNC cable though, because the monitor (from what I can see) has four BNC connectors for component and one for audio; however, the cable has 5 bnc connectors, so how would I go about hooking that up?
Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated!

Here is an easy diagram:

This is what I use
Wii Gamestation brand RGB SCART/Snakebyte Playstation RGB SCART/QED SCART>SCART switch>SCART to RGBS Female RCA>RCA to BNC Cables>PVM

The SCART switch has separate Stereo out which I use to connect Creative T20 Series 2 speakers.

Re: Question about the Sony PVM-20M2MDU Monitor.
You don't need a sync strike with the 20M2MDU. Also it takes composite sync (H and V on one wire) so RGBHV won't work without re-combining the syncs.
Scart TV's use composite video for sync, and lucky for you, the 20M2MDU can as well.
Hit up "Broken" on the neo-geo forums, he has female scart -> BNC breakout cables that work perfectly with these PVMs.

You might remember me from such movies as skate323k137 on neo-geo and racketboy forums.
