I'm new here and as a passionate of SHMUPS I'd like to share with you the game that I've been involved with a programmer friend and it's now released.
DOT Space Hero is a challenging shooter with some jump 'n run features perfectly adapted for mobile devices. You take control of DOT, a space kid who has to retrieve all his stardust. In the game you will have to defeat lots of enemies and evade obstacles in 4 different worlds with boss fights and bonus stages. Collecting special weapons & upgrades and making use of your jetpack to fly across the screen.

We wanted to take the old school shmups challenging experience to mobile devices so despite the cute graphics because you will have to make use of all your reflexes to play the game.
We have taken a year to develop it, without funding, from our home, at distance and putting a lot of passion and commitment, so I hope you give it a check.

A bit of the main story...
In a far away galaxy lives DOT, a space traveller whom loves to play videogames and eat super delicious stardust. But one day, while he is asleep, somebody steals his beloved and shiny delight. When Dot realizes that he was robbed, he decides to go out and find the thief!
Gameplay:
Join DOT in this exciting adventure across the galaxy and discover beautiful and amazing worlds where you will encounter terrible enemies and challenges. You will be able to fight them all with your jetpack and special weapons using only two touch buttons.
Challenge your reflexes and skills to face and defeat a bunch of aliens, sandstorms, living plants, deadly insects, guardian robots and giant enemies! Travel in the spaceship and dare discover this and more in DOT Space Hero!
