Board Identification Fun

Post by colour_thief »

Hats off to anyone who can identify all 3 boards in this pic. Yes they all serve a purpose. No none of them are the actual game.

Oooo, ooo, I can!

They're all boards that go in your arcade cab that we'll play on at the next meet? :P

one of 'em is the reco autofire, one's probably the xbox usb adapter, and the other looks like it could be to enable 6 buttons instead of 3 via jamma, and that's just because I think you explained that last time I was over, not because I actually know anything about arcade hardware

Top: multi-game JAMMA adapter? Looks similar to what I have on my Neo-Geo multicart.

Middle: Reco PCB

Bottom: Jamma a/v capture board

You are correct, a capture board. Sanwa VC-J2 to be precise.

That makes 2/3. Top one is left. Note the Capcom logo.

I am guessing something to hook up the kick harness to the JAMMA, but I think that was basically what Roo already said.

what's the other side of that Capcom PCB look like? It could be either an adapter for non-JAMMA arcade games, or a control adapter (for games like Block Block)

You are correct, it's an adapter for Puzz Loop 2 for spinner use. :D
