Way back when Kenchan used to own the PCB, I was the only one who liked this game. i'd rather be playing the PCB right now, because the sound in MAME is much worse.

Seriously how do you fuck up a simple thing like movement in a shmup? Just unforgivable, shame since the game is decent otherwise

Got a different boss in 1-6, didn't even know it existed and was forced to bomb it like mad... Anyone know what determines which boss you face? I had a route figured out for the one on the right :/

I find the opposite to be true, It's impossible to make precise movements in this game due to how you change speed depending on how long you hold a button for. Sure, It's nice for microtapping, but what if I don't to do a super tiny tap or a bold sweep, but something in between? It's horrible and I constantly find myself adjusting accordingly and that wouldn't be necessary in a normal shmup.

If it's like S1999 you fight the boss on the opposite side of where your ship is when you pass the trigger zone.

I did try playing it with MAME 0.148u3, but it sounded so bad that I went back to the silent version (which also has the advantage of autofire). Soundtrack this time: Tortoise - Millions Now Living Will Never Die.
