Very hard to find them "out in the wild" even in Japan, but Hard Offs in smaller cities will usually have some old PC games lying around. Usually the eroge and sims though.

In 7 years I've never seen a single Towns game in a Hardoff. Just lots of DOS/V, some PC-98, and a couple MSX carts.

Regardless, wasting one's vacation time by going out to an isolated Hardoff store in the silly hope of finding a decent FM Towns game is just silly.

I know some people whose idea of a perfect vacation is just that.

gbaplayer asked where he can find such games in Japan. He didn't ask us for input on how to best utilize his free time.

He may use his vacation however he wishes, but recommending a tourist to head to Hardoff to look for Towns games is truly a wild goose chase. An absolute waste of time.

This is the one:

They had some junk boxes with FM Towns erogames, but of course this was some years ago.

There is a used game shop next door though.

Are you registered at Triggerzone? You should get in touch with Moosmann there, he always knows a lot of shops in Japan.

I'd laugh more at Microcosm and Scavenger.

Seriously...look up a YouTube video sometime. They called these games?
