XRGB Mini With Scanlines on 480p Games. Possible?

Hi all I have a 1.08 Firmware XRGB Mini Framemesiter and was wondering if Scanlines were possible on 480p Out games. I tried it with my gamecube console with component output and a Metroid prime echoes games and I can't see any Scanlines. Are Scanlines only for 240p/480i output???

Or could it be the updated firmware is causing the problem ?

They work on 480p as well. The settings just works differently compared to 240p scanlines. You have increase density of the odd ones while you decrease it for the even ones (or the other way around).

Hello Fudoh thanks for the reply so what would be the recommend settings for even and odd Scanlines in 480p gaming ? Or is it different from console to console . Thanks

I haven't tried this out on Gamecube, but I've been using my Wii and have it looking pretty good when outputing to 720p. The default scanlines for Virtual Console games running at 240p (Super Metroid for example) looked really good to me. I believe the default setting of Scan A was set to 80. I was able to replicate the look with the Wii set to 480P and scanlines adjusted for B even = 80 and B odd = 127 (basically off). I ran the Wii in Gamecube mode and it looked pretty good too. I didn't like the default settings for 480p scanlines, to me this looks much better.
