STG Weekly #25: Ginga Force

Post by Aquas »

Episode is scheduled for this Sunday (16th) at 5pm CST, commenting on Pestro87's Type B world record in Score Attack Hard. Pestro and Ratikal will join for commentary and perhaps as well as Frenetic and we have Soda streaming in HD. See ya there! Episode is commemorating the release of the Eschatos / Ginga Force double pack so if you like the episode I'll have play asia affiliate links for you guys to use if you like P-A.

Oh man. Yes. I love Qute's games but I'm never sure what to make of the scoring. Are they as simple as they seem? I dunno, but I love em either way.

There is only one solution: live reenactment.

I'm looking forward to this anyway!

I just bought this game, awesome! If someone could explain the menus between stages and what the weapons do and stuff during the commentary i'd love that.

I was planning on focusing more on the scoring but I have translated all of the menus, including the descriptions for the weapons (you can find the link in my sig).

Btw Aquas, it should be Sunday the 16th :)

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the episode, Aleksei. In retrospect, I don't think that I'm cut out for podcasting as my voice really sucks and I talked way too much. I also found myself frequently cutting other people off as I listened back to the recording :/

Having that said, it was an honor to be on the show and ratikal, Aquas and Frenetic did a great job!

What? It was your replay, you didn't talk too much, it was the necessary amount, btw, did you hear my awful voice in the story of Alltynex episode #17? I knew what to say but I was nervous and sounded like an idiot as a result, you did much better.

Damn, now I wish I had watch Per play this at jonny5's the other week ... watching people who are ridiculously good at a game play it live is really cool. I still remember watching SuperSoaker360 destory Ketsui with a 360 pad at a Waterloo meet

@Aleksei Lol, I thought you did great. I guess it's true what they say that you're your own worst critic :P

@shmuppyLove Fear not, I was planning on bringing my 360 again for the meet this Saturday 8)

Anyways, this game is amazing and I forgot to mention that it comes with a sound selection CD as well if anyone already owns Eschatos and is considering getting the stand-alone release.

Only the first print (or pre-ordered?) copies though, right? I didn't order mine until March since I was in the middle of a long trip when the game was released, and there was no CD included.

I had to double check this and you're right, only the first print came with the CD. That's lame but oh well, it's a really fun game nevertheless :)
