How does Saidaioujou stack up to the other Dodonpachis?
Specifically to Daioujou and the original.

It doesn't, DOJ IS THE GREATEST...

It has difficulty selection instead of a loop, so it's automatically better than DOJ.

It stacks up on the funometer for sure but the clear difficulty is much higher vs. the first loop of DDP and DOJ. I guess it depends a lot on how quickly you can learn from your mistakes and memorize where to pre-position yourself, which are not things I had to do often on DDP and DOJ to be honest. I don't really know how other people feel playing the games but if you are like me and get a perfect difficulty tension from Ketsui, imagine that in overdrive (too much to be Ketsui-bliss-like). But the port has a bunch of modes that are easier. The Expert mode is pointless unless you are superplay level. If you look over highscore tables for people who get crazy scores, people like Erppo, those are the only people who are going to enjoy Expert mode I think. It's one of the hardest Cave first/normal mode/one loop clears absolutely.

Is Ketsui harder than Daioujou?

Interesting question. I think they are close enough to where you will have half the people thinking it is and half who don't. It took me longer to clear Ketsui but not by much. It also would depend on which clears you already have under your belt before starting.
