Just bought my second stick as I own a ton of fighters and shmups that I'd love to play 2p on.
First one I bought was new and you could tell, the second has came and after an initial clean of the unit, as it was filthy, everything works great but the stick is a little tight/sticky going from left to right.
A full 360 loosens it for a bit, but then it goes back to being a bit tight.
I've never opened one before and I'm not capable enough to mod due to a pretty bad eyesight condition that screws me up with small details.
So I'm just wondering if there's an easy way to fix this problem?
Either with a bit of lubricant (And if so, what type?) or if that's a no go, then if anyone can post a harder solution that a sparky (electrition) should be able to manage, as my best mates future father in law is an ace sparky.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone know how to loosen a DC Agetec stick?

It's common knowledge that the parts used in a plain-vanilla (meaning unmodded) DC Agetech Stick setup are Sanwa knock-offs (so close but still no cigar). It does get the job done but if you really want true Japanese arcade-spec parts, then by going either with Sanwa or Seimistu parts for both the arcade joystick and push buttons, you'd have a world-class JPN arcade-spec setup bar none.
For some shmuppers, going with all Seimitsu parts for playing them shmups is the best route, whilst for playing fighting games, going the Sanwa route, is prefferable. Of course ymmv, so why not get both Sanwa & Seimitsu parts and see what best fits your personal tastes? You can swap out one for the other if it's not to your liking.
I've got a modified DC Agetech stick setup with all the stock parts removed (joystick & push buttons) and replaced with all Seimitsu parts + the buttons are configured in a JPN arcade-spec setup like that currently used in the Japanese game centers.
