100% shmups news page

Post by postman »

I see a lot of things mentioned here days or weeks later after being mentioned on my news page. Just wanted to remind people that if something shmuppy is going on, chances are it will be mentioned on the news page within a day.

Outside of Click-Stick, I can't think of any other 100% shmups news English pages.

Yellow text on a light blue background is very hard to read. That light blue is hard on the eyes period when used in such large bands.

The content on the site is great.. But like the guy above me said, unfortunately an eye destroyer, too much contrast/bright colours and bit too large text

Ok - points well taken. I'm not a very good website designer, and will change things up next time I archive the page.

Bookmarked! Might not be the world's prettiest web page, but it's certainly a great resource. And that's what really counts.

it's kind funny in a weird way because I've read a book on ergonomic and it said that the most user friendly display is yellow characters on a blue background. Academics sucks :)

I thought black on white was the easiest to read. I would imagine that the problem is not with the book, but with the shade of blue shootthecore uses. If it were a darker blue, it'd be far easier on the eyes.
