The game does not works. It ask for a java tool pack, and when I install it and order to run, an error message appears:
UNCAUGHT EXCEPTION THROWN IN THREAD[LWGJL RENDERER THREAD,5 JAVAWSAPPLICATION THREADGROUP] NULL POINTER EXCEPTION.

Re: Dragon - Galaxy Interceptor
It worked fine for me.
It's not a half-bad game, actually, but there's a lot of room for improvement.
The gameplay is really simplistic. Adding some kind of scoring mechanic would help with that. The enemies are clearly grouped together, maybe give a bonus if you shoot down all the enemies in a group, then maybe have a multiplier if you shoot down successive groups. Also having a different weapon type or power ups would make it more interesting.
I like the use of 3D, but it was a bit confusing when enemies were underneath, because it's not immediately obvious they're in a different layer. There needs to be some kind of visual cue, like maybe they're slightly out of focus (depth of field).

Yeah, it isn't working for me. Downloads some launcher.jclp or something and when I click on it it just says 'cannot run the application'.
Maybe a better launch method/instructions could help?

Hi,
the game needs Java in order to run. Normally java is installed by default on most computer and java update keeps your version up-to-date.
Then, if all goes well, it should be easy: just click on play -> the file launch.jnlp is downloading, launch it like a .exe file and you're done.
To test if java is installed, just click on this link: http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp
@tiaoferreira: Can you tell me on which OS are you running and what is your Java version? It'd help me to identify the issue.
@BPzeBanshee: Most probably your browser is not set up in a way to know how to send the Java Web Start files (.jnlp) to the Web Start application.
please make sure you have Java installed and updated to the latest version.
@shmuppyLove: thank you for your feedback, I'll consider this for my future production.

Re: Dragon - Galaxy Interceptor
Well I got it to work on another computer. Is it 32-bit only Java requirement?
I agree with everything shmuppyLove said. The giant ships could use a little less health OR a weapon upgrade to kill them faster would help. For your next game I suggest going with a default weapon with a fast firerate.
