Neo Geo
I only have a Neo Geo CD and own only few shmups for it so I can't really judge fairly. However, I have Last Resort - and THAT is supposed to be among the top 3???

Never really played alot of shooter for SNES, Genesis or PC Engine, but I played most on Neo Geo.
