sega kitana development system

Post by ryosnk »

I won an auction on ebay and the seller emailed me if I was interested in this: Is this legit and he is selling it for $350?

His email:
I have this Sega Dreamcast developer system. This is what they gave to game companies to code the games on. Basically, it hooks up to your PC and you can code Dreamcast games with included software and then the games run off of the dreamcast. Very interesting indeed. I have a guide on how to get this working with your computer, and also have the software you need. This system was also once called sega 'katana' because it came out before dreamcast was released. See photos for some more details, note these are not actual photos of my unit, but it's exactly the same. Thanks!

Yes its legit, however you need to ask him about something called a ''gold disc'' think its a piece of development software thats essential but they are very hard to come by.

$350 is a good price saw them go at over $800 back in the days of dreamcast online gaming, they are one of the reasons pso got fukked up.
