Sega Blast City Power Supply Replacement?

Post by Shuurin »

Just shy of owning my Blast City cabinet for two years it has decided to stop powering on. The rope I have tied around the safety switch is still tight and holding down the switch properly. Flipping on the power switch gets me nothing (no video or sound at all). The little red light I could normally see through the power supply cage isn't even lit up. I tried plugging the power cord into a few different sockets thinking I had a dead socket, but no luck there. What part in the power supply cage is likely the culprit and where can I find replacement power supplies for Blast City cabinets?

I got a friend with a voltage meter to verify my suspicions, just mainly looking for some general information from anyone who is knowledgeable about Sega Blast City cabinets. So when I get some confirmation I can make a swift purchase and get back to shmupin.

Thanks

River Service sells replacement PSUs. They're not original, however, but RS's own brand. I've heard they work fine.
