Too bad it was produced by Japan. It's first practical use will be for loli-porn.

All holographic displays have a long way to go. You still need something huge in the room to display anything. When you can make a hologram out of a 25c coin i'll be impressed.

Eh, when I can do this with a box the size of my phone [in fact, preferably from my phone ], I'll be happy.


Also, it really does look a lot like how it does in Star Wars, all flickery and whatnot.
