Atari is a million years old in video game years - 40, in human years. To celebrate, 100 vintage Atari games contained within the Greatest Hits iOS app will be free.
"Celebrate Atari's 40th birthday with a free tour of all that Atari's Greatest Hits has to offer!" reads an alert once you've downloaded the free Atari's Greatest Hits app.
"All games will remain free-to-play UNTIL you remove or reinstall the game."
I'm guessing it's because of the 'gallery' of images that comes with it. The console games all come with manuals too. Pretty cool, even if the controls are resolutely horrible :-/
Yeah, that's the only one I've found playable with the touch controls.
I loved LL in the arcades when I was younger, haven't played it on the original controls in a looooooong time. I guess these touch controls are the closest thing to that analog feel that we're going to get these days...
