The Twilight Zone coming to The Pinball Arcade. Support Need

Post by lettuce »

Looks like one of the Greatest Pinball tables of all time might be coming to The Pinball Arcade......Twilight Zone. If you dont know what The Pinball Arcade is, its a game for the, Iphone, Ipad, Android units, PC, Xbox 360, PS3 that recreates real life pinball tables from the 70s to the 90s. Join their Facebook page. BUT they need support in the form of the Kickstarter project....

Basicaly because of the different licensing this table holds, it cost ALOT more money to gain the rights than tables that arent based on a Theme, TV show, Band, Film etc. Basically if this comes off it will pave the way for tables such as, Star Trek TNG, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Tron, Dr Who, The Addams Family etc....if it doesnt come off then i doubt will ever see this classic reallife tables in TPA .

There's a working Twilight Zone table about 100 miles from my house. I think it's pretty mediocre.

Wait a minute...FarSight? They made the Genesis version of Action 52!! They're sure not getting any of my money.

I think it was probably contract work for Active Enterprises (developer of the NES version and publisher of the Genesis version), but definitely terrible stuff. Their pinball games are actually very good (aside from Action 52's Starball. lol), but still have a lot of bugs. A huge improvement compared to the Action 52 days, but their track record is still a bit iffy outside of pinball. If you want to try it out there's a demo of Pinball Arcade that can be played for free on iOS and 360 and the Cirqus Voltaire table on iOS and Android is free until the next two tables get released (probably in about a month). Still it frustrates me to see all these "the bugs will stop coming after things get sorted out" posts given FarSights track record for bugs.
