How do I get to loop 2? Do I need to clear the game in a single credit? or is there another way?

I'm fairly new to shmups and only own 2 at the moment, Bullet Soul and Mushihimesama Futari.

Single credit the first loop and collect at least 7 stars from completing the various stage bonus clear requirements.
