Looking for Blast Works save file

Post by arromdee »

I just got this game for the Wii. So I'm looking for a file which has the original four games unlocked so I can play them first. There seemed to be one at http://gzrgames.blogspot.com/2011/11/bl ... pload.html but it was stored on Megaupload, which of course is gone. wiisave.com fails to have Blast Works and Googling it shows nothing useful.

Just as an FYI, saves are incompatible b/w separate Wii consoles. So I'm guessing you'd have to do some sort of homebrew fiddling to get it to work, even if you find it.

Yeah there's a homebrew program to take off/put on memory saves from SD regardless of the original Wii they came from. Legit too, otherwise it wouldn't be on the Wiibrew website.

I do have my Wii modified for homebrew, but it sounds like this game is set up so that save files are compatible anyway, probably since any user-created game is also stored in the save file.

Got to say, I wouldn't mind a copy of that save file also. Couldn't face playing through the main game - it's tedious, but would love to tryout the unlockables.

You could always play the original free PC versions...

There are also unofficial PSP ports of rRootage and Noiz2sa that work great under LCFW 6.60 PRO B10, probably ports for other handhelds like Caanoo etc. as well.
