Do IOS games support video out HD cables for Iphone

I remember already responding to a similar question here, but...

Unless you're playing on the iPad 2, iPad 3rd generation, or the iPhone 4S, the game has to specifically support the various video out adapters for anything to be displayed through it. So, if you don't own one of these three devices, then probably not. If you do, then anything that's on the device's screen is automatically displayed, regardless of app support.

Which brings up the issue - how do you expect to be able to play a game with onscreen touch controls without looking directly at the touch controls?

Does the Apple TV device double up as one of these video out adapters?

You should be able to mirror the output of your iPhone via AirPlay on the aTV 2 or 3 even for games that aren't specially AP Enhanced.

It will however introduce some lag as it's wireless, which probably isn't good for Cave games
