Having Issues with my sync strike. Now with video.

I have had a sync strike for about 6 months and with the exception of the SNES, I have had issues that render nost of the other systems I know unplayable. I have looked in the forums for similar problems and really haven't found anything similar to the problems I am having.
A few months back I started this thread.

To this day it still has not gotten any replays, I guess because no one knew what I was talking about.

Anyways I have created a video with all the systems I use SCART with the sync strike and the CGA2VGA scaler. I hope you guys who know more about this than I do can tell me if my Sync Strike is defective or other issues that could be causing these problems.

Panzer Dragoon Saga has an interlace title screen, can that scaler handle interlace at all? Genesis is just one constant pita as regards sync issues, try modding it for raw sync.

As for your PS2, well, the PS2 also shows it's menu screens in 480i, and that's probably why you can't see anything.

I'll do some testing when I get home tonight and report back.

I don't use the scaler much but when I did test I never had these kinds of issues.

No problems with the PS2 and those games on the Saturn for me. I can't test my MD as it's busted..... but I never remember having any issues with that either.

Whether it's your scaler or SS I can't comment on, but something isn't working right.

I contacted arcadeforge.de and they say that its probably my scaler.
To be more precise, this is the scaler I use and where I bought it from.

I have also tested the Unit using Y pb pr input and I can see the panzer dragoon saga titles screen with no problems.

Sega Saturn - Scart to YUV converter -> scaler-> VGA to HDMI convert -> LG CRT HDTV.

That's interesting as that scaler is the single VGA output one. Mine is the dual output BUT should be the same otherwise.

Yeah, I pointed out the PSU as well. Make sure you have a regulated one with at least 1A, best is 2A

Yes before I bought the sync strike I made absolutely sure that I had an Ac adaptor that fullfilled those requirements.
