Liquid Kids PCB + Supergun = Black & White image over RGB
does this game use a weird refresh rate i was somehow previously unaware of? running it on my supergun with arcade power supply. over composite i get a black and white image that loses sync every 5 or so seconds during gameplay, and over RGB i get a color image that continually loses sync.

What are you connecting the RGB output to? I have this PCB as well and haven't had issues in the past.

just the supergun's regular RGB output; works fine on everything but liquid kids. like i said, even the composite out on it does block and white.

You need to test the board on a cab / another supergun, it may have a dead sync.

Try to solder a wire on the PCB's edge connector from the VIDEO GND to the GND.

i figured this would definitely help; hoping to have a cab soon, so that'll settle that. i want to say it's likely not the case, as i was sent videos before packing of it running perfectly on a test unit, and it was packed excellently, but you never knowsystem11 wrote:You need to test the board on a cab / another supergun, it may have a dead sync.
and that's something i can definitely manage in the mean time, will give it a shotemphatic wrote:Try to solder a wire on the PCB's edge connector from the VIDEO GND to the GND.
thanks for the help

If you have a meter you can just check that ground pin without having to get out the soldering iron. 9/10 or more that's going to be a straight connection to common ground.
