this fixes a bug that makes your touhou games think you pressing UP+LEFT when you start the game with an XBOX 360 controller or any joystick that uses POV for the D-pad. lots of people are trying to use joy2key but they have problems as soon as they start the game. this problem happens with or without joy2key but you still need joy2key to map your POV joystick to the arrow keys on the keyboard.
here is the fix
1 unplug your joystick
2 start touhou in window 640x480
3 plug in your joystick
4 start joy2key
5 check the box to use POV.
6 map your 4 POV directions to UP-ARROW, RIGHT-ARROW, DOWN-ARROW, LEFT-ARROW
NOTE (do NOT map your buttons at all)
7 ALT+ENTER to fullscreen touhou
8 goto options, key config and map your buttons here
9 play touhou
touhou only scans for joystick at start but will accept button inputs even after no joystick is detected. if you do it like this touhou ignores POV inputs so you must use joy2key or xpadder. I used xpadder and it worked.
