I sold my old AV-Toolbox component video matrix switch on another forum. The recipient of said device has informed me that somehow, in the post, the plastic cover on the DC power input has been destroyed, meaning the PSU connector no longer fits, though the unit still works if it's held in place so it looks like that's all the damage Royal Fail managed to inflict.
What would be the best bet for fixing this? Has anyone any experience repairing damage like this? Or (long shot) have a similar unit that's broken down I could buy as a donor?

Re: Replacing DC power connector on AV-Toolbox component switch
Might be best to solder in a new replacement. If it uses a standard connector it should be easily replaceable.
