A Q for people in the UK

Post by neorichieb1971 »

My dad died almost 2 years ago at the age of 64 and 10 months. I never asked about his pensions when he died and nobody came forward (like some other people did) with information about how to close things out. If all he had was a state pension is all that contribution lost? He never claimed a single penny from it as he never quite reached the age of retirement. Was due for that 2 months after he died.

I'm going to ask to the Citizens Advice Bureau on my days off but was just thinking about asking here if anyone knows the answer.

thanks for any info you can give.

Richie.

I think you are correct. Similar to things left unclaimed in a will; after a certain period of time passes it becomes property of the state.

Even without my umbillical cable attached I still have over 12,000 plates of fortified armour AND I have my AT Field! There's NO WAY I can lose!!
