How's Frogger 3D, for the 3DS?...

This game looks really fun, but reviewers have bashed it as being way too hard in the later levels (there are evidently quite a few levels). But I don't know if they mean hard in an unfair sense, or just plane "old-school hard", like the way a lot of games used to be.

I haven't played it, but I read a review in Retro Gamer magazine. They didn't tell anything about the difficulty level, but they complained that earlier levels are too simplistic and repetitive, and that the game takes quite some time to pick up.
