Giving away an Origin discount voucher

Post by Ruldra »

I just got a 25% discount voucher from EA in my mailbox.
Value of discount will be deducted from order list price at time of purchase. Valid only for one-time purchases from the Origin store at Origin.com. Excludes pre-orders, games released within 30 days of your purchase, virtual currency and Game Time codes. This offer expires 30 days after the send date of this email and cannot be combined with any other offer, Gift Card, rebate or other discount coupons. Valid only in U.S. and Canada. Limit one offer per person. Product subject to availability. Customers are responsible for shipping, handling and applicable sales tax.
I have no use for it. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll send it to you via PM. Note that it only works for North American people.

Yep Origin sucks, this article sums up my feelings quite nicely http://www.escapistmagazine.com/article ... -You-Stink

Considering Bioware is going down the shithole, EA is dead to me on PC. The only thing I feel I have to play on PC and thats Mass Effect 3 as my 1&2 saves are PC. If I can put my savefile onto my 360 without getting banned ill go that route. If not ill just buy PC retail as im sure someone will make a decent crack for it.

You know, usually when somebody says "HEEEY KIDS, COUPONS FOR GAMES!" it's not supposed to be a gateway drug...for digital herpes. So that 25% will never numb or dumb away the pain of getting sucked into EA's service.

this line in memory of Richard Garriott's Origin

Does Origin have a way to opt-out of their spyware yet? Sorry, if someone game me a 125% off coupon (as in, free game plus pay me 25%), I still wouldn't use it.
