Nintendo points - up for grabs

Post by Enemy »

You know the story, buy Nintendo points, scratch panel off so no way of returning them and then try and enter the code on a 3DS only to find out that Nintendo has f**ked you over, 3DS cant use Nintendo Points.

Anyone find a use for these, rather someone on here uses them than they never get used, UK btw (i think that makes a difference).

You have to buy a pre-paid 3DS points card, then it'll work without any issues. Once you enter the code, it should say how much monetary credits are listed on the bottom 3DS LCD screen (usually in $20.00 USD increments). The Nintendo Points pre-paid card is only good for use with the DSi/DSi-XL variants & the Wii (at least for the US region marketbase).

I don't know if they can be used here in the US, if you're looking to give them away and if it would work, I'd take them off your hands.

Edit: guess the answers no, damn you Nintendo and your region coding.

I'm sure I could find a use for them but since my wifi died someone else might as well have them. Bought Faxandu but haven't been able to connect long enough to download it. Oh well.

How many points? I fancy getting Ironclad on Virtual Console but Nintendo's retarded policy means I don't want to spend my own money on something I can't move to another console without pleading with them.

In a dramatic twist of fate my Wii is now online so I'll have them if TransatlanticFoe doesn't want them. :)

If you're giving them away, yes please - that's enough for Ironclad and probably something else I'll never be able to afford on proper hardware. Or just get 200 more and go for Sin & Punishment too.
