Joystick help

Greetings!
Long time reader, first time poster. Anywho I'm planning on modding my hori ex2 (just picked one up for super cheap) with a suzo 500 joystick (http://www.gremlinsolutions.co.uk/produ ... tem500.htm) but I'm not sure it will fit. I've tried looking for it's dimensions but I've come up blank. Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the base, I'd rather know if it'll fit before buying one.

Sorry, but that'll never work. It's hard to even fit a SANWA or Seimitsu in that stick. The SUZO 500 is way taller (the body) than Japanese sticks. Your best bet is getting a harder spring (LS-55, LS-56 or SANWA JLW, best bet is to get all three and try 'em) for your HORI stick and get some microswitches with blades like these:

With these switches and a harder spring, the crappy HORI stick will feel almost like a Seimitsu LS-32

Thanks for the advice dude I had a feeling it wouldn't fit. I'll post up the results when I've fully modded it... If all goes well.
