fighting shooter(shmup)

hey, a while ago there were posts about a game which combined shooter style game play and fighting/ vs elements. can anyone post some info ont his game...maybe some videos and links? thanks in advance.

sorry about the shooter/shmup thing. i grew up calling them shooters...verts and hori's...sorry hahahaha i actually hate the shmup name hahah.

Is Senko No Ronde supposed to have both fighter and shooter elements?

Cannon Spike is proberbly the game you're looking for, Good game to it has capcom character in it like cammy and megaman etc etc...

I believe you are referring to Senko No Ronde.

Less likely than the stuff already mentioned, but maybe it was the "versus" shmup Change Air Blade?
