I have a question regarding the 50/60 switch. I followed the instructions
(http://www.retrocorner.net/index.php?Mo ... h_-_page_2)
to mod my PAL Saturn. Works fine, game are "borderless" now.
The question is, is my PAL Saturn now outputting PAL 60 or NTSC? My TV just tells me that it is RGB.

Re: Question about Saturn 50/60hz switch
I think it would be PAL 60 (IIRC component swaps are needed to switch the encoder to NTSC), but if you're using RGB you're bypassing the encoder (and thus the PAL/NTSC distinction) altogether.
Re: Question about Saturn 50/60hz switch
RGB doesn't really tell PAL from NTSC. Depending on the cable you use, your sync signal might be composite PAL60, but that's ok, since the TV strips the PAL information anyway. If you use raw sync (depends on the cable), then there's no difference between RGBs60Hz on a PAL and a NTSC system.

@ Fudoh: Since you are the expert; will the XRGB-3 work with this Signal?
I bought the cable from adapterman in the UK, but i have no idea if it uses "raw sync".

Re: Question about Saturn 50/60hz switch
should be fine. For the Saturn I always used the RGB input on the back of the XRGB, but both inputs should be fine. If you run into troubles (dropouts on white screens), just change the input termination of the front input from 75 to 220 ohms and readjust the brightness.
