360: where to find DLC for re-downloading ?

Post by Fudoh »

Quick question: I know I can re-download XBLA and indie games from the marketplace in case I change my harddrive or move to a new system, but where do I find DLC from pack-in codes and stuff like that ?

Here's the instructions MS provides:

1) Sign in to Xbox LIVE using the gamertag that you used when you originally purchased the content.
2) Press the Guide button on the controller.
3) Go to the Settings area, and then select Account Management.
4) Select Download History.
5) Select the item that you want to download.
6) Select Download Again.
7) Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each item that you want to download again.

thanks! Have you actually tried this before ? Does the download history list every demo I've ever downloaded (as on PS3) or is it just the paid content ?

Every single game, demo, dlc item, movie, gamer icon, theme, or whatever else you have ever downloaded with that gamertag shows up in the download history list. It gets pretty cluttered.

I think you can also access your download history from your account at xbox.com, which may be a lot easier than navigating the 360's UI.
