This is a followup for the 2005 resolutions/ goals thread we had at some point. (yes, I know- stupid fluff thread) Let's hear how you're doing so far.

Mine were-

Get the 2-1 in Dragon Blaze
Clear Advance Course for Batrider
ALL Gunbird 2

I did the first two, but the third seems unlikely. I just don't think I can put in the time and study it will take to do it. The jury's still out though.

i had two goals, 100mil on doj and looping strikers 2 with the shinden. only managed the first, got....what...one pattern away from the damn clear in sII SDJFQSJDQSSEZAF, i just laughed my ass off afterwards, but an hysterical laughter kinda mixed with despair, you know, especially since i wanted to be done with the game.

its funny because i posted about not having set goals on that topic, times change.

Usually when I get to that point you're at (Strikers II) I'm maybe a week or so away from the clear if I can keep at it. I'd stick to it for a little bit until you get it.

I haven't played a shmup outside of Nomltest for a good 4 months.

So...nope. :/

I didn't count on getting addicted to IIDX again, or having my TV crap out on me. :/

Thanks DEL. I finally had a decent run and reached the final boss with 2 lives and a couple of bombs. I made sure to use them!

I believe I said something about wanting to 1CC a shmup game, but that hasn't happened yet because I haven't been playing any games since I went AWOL on you guys.

1CC Gokujou Parodius
1LC Oshaberi Parodius
20M on ESP Galuda

Succeeded in clearing SS Sexy Paro, but didn't get the bonus stage, so I want to go back and try for that.

Slow progress on the others, but I haven't been playing games much over the last couple of months.

cigs - Spurred on by your 1CC Advance Course Triumph, I started on it yesterday. That last Boss is busy as HELL! I can see that you needed the 2 lives and a couple of bombs to pull that one off

I've printed out Matt's Strat on Batrider and will try for an all

Its a highly addictive game - a lot of replay value.

I've been addicted to the boss rush mode of APB. I'm always stopped by envy though.
