Bomber Mode: ツィ~まる - 69,489,820 - ALL

But isn't an official score. Arcadia not collect scores for bomber mode, and this is only a score that I found on mixi page of the player Tsuuimaro.

FYI there's a higher Gradius III Type B score than what's listed here:
3,309,700 - 6-2 - Video

Wow really? Do you know how to get that invincibility bug to work? It must occur after stage 3 if it cannot be done in beginner mode.

Regarding Caladrius, I think the best way to track it would be to have one score that includes all custom characters, and one score for each default character. With custom on, everyone just uses the best weapons, so the only difference between each character is their main shot and movement speed. Without custom weapons, each character has to use their default setup, which should make their play style and difficulty vary quite a bit. Plus it encourages people to fully explore the game, rather than stick with the same three weapons while ignoring the 20 other ones. Ideally, everything should be tracked individually (same as any shmup), but it's not a popular game and probably never will be, so I think this is a good compromise. Or just do one score for custom on and one score for custom off since hardly anyone here plays the game. /shrug

There is a problem, though. Xbox 360 version 1.10 is slightly different than the arcade version's Original mode. The game is a little easier on the 360 because some zako don't shoot bullets at all, but everything else seems identical (boss patterns, enemy layouts, etc). I don't think it's a big deal, but it's worth mentioning. I also don't know if the PS3 or PS4 version is more accurate.

I remember it being checkpoint milking where you get enough points for an extend every time.

He got that score at home so he couldn't submit it to the JHA, but for our purposes it is the WR so I'll list that one instead.

That's a bit of milking right there. I wonder how long that run lasted.

He beat the record by 1.1k points - missing the timing on one more coin would have cost him that record!

New Gokujou Parodius WR (I assume with Koitsu since no other character's record is nearly as high):
Spoiler

If I understand correctly this was done on his personal cab so we won't be seeing this score on JHA, but he intends to repeat the feat at an arcade.

That's very impressive.
He has either figured out how to do more double techs, or taken medal collection and milking to another level.
I'd really like to see it, but it most probably won't happen.

I take it his guy has a twitter account. Could anyone share the link ?
